Breaking the Myth - Our CTO Took Robotics & AI Beyond the CS Department at VELS University

MiBOT Ventures is delighted to share that our CTO, Kalaikovan Antony, had the privilege of delivering a guest lecture at VELS University - engaging directly with students from the Robotics, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering departments in an inspiring session on the latest trends and technologies shaping the world of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

The session was an open, dynamic exchange not a formal lecture in the traditional sense, but a conversation designed to challenge assumptions, expand perspectives, and show students that the world of robotics is far larger, and far more accessible, than most of them had imagined walking in.

The response from students was energising. Many arrived with the assumption that robotics was someone else's subject. They left with a completely different understanding one where their own engineering discipline is not separate from the world of robotics, but deeply intertwined with it.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to VELS University for the opportunity to engage with such enthusiastic, curious, and driven learners. Events like this remind us why industry-academia collaboration matters so deeply the students in that room are the engineers who will be building, deploying, and leading the robotic systems of tomorrow. The earlier we connect with them, the better we all become.
